Weekly Learning Update

EDIT:  We had a visit from our friends at the Alex Dental Bus today!  Consent forms were sent home.  Please sign and return these at your earliest convenience!

Hello Keeler Families,

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

By the end of this week, students should be able to:

• explain what an increasing pattern is, and tell you its rule. (Math)
• explain what a province is and identify Alberta on a map of Canada. (SS)
• put their spelling words into a sentence or series of sentences that make sense. (Writing)

Reminders/Important Dates:

• Please try your best to read with your child every night.  We will be switching home reading books on Mondays and Fridays.
• First assembly is this Friday!
• Terry Fox run is on September 26th.  There is a container in the classroom to collect "Twonies for Terry" donations!

Spelling words: Depending on your child's reading level, they have been given one of two lists.  The words have gone home, but if you aren't sure which words your child should be practicing, please email or message us.
